The Ross-Chillicothe Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeing an increase in tourism during this time of year.
"This is when we see, I would say, about 60% of our visitors," said Melody Young, of the RCCVB. "You'll see them in the hotels, you'll see them in our office, you'll see them at the restaurants, (and) you're definitely seeing them at the events."
Young said she recently spoke with a couple visiting from Arizona, and they had plans to see the outdoor drama "Tecumseh!" and to go to the Hopewell Mounds.
"We just have so much rich culture right here in Chillicothe," said Young.
